Since 1991, SEEF has awarded 621 grants totaling more than $550,000 to support excellence in the Shakopee School District. These grants support innovative and creative projects that engage students and enhance curricula.
Shakopee School District staff submit proposals for ideas they want to implement in their classroom. Grants are provided across all schools and in all curriculum areas. Funds come from generous donations from area businesses, service organizations, school district staff, community members, and alumni.
